The Paris Writers Group Atelier

I was recently introduced to Professor Mary Duncan. Mary is the author of Henry Miller is Under My Bed and former professor at San Diego State University in California, and founder of the Paris Writers Group and Atelier on the Rue de la Bûcherie in Paris France. During our conversation she mention wanting to create a kind of time capsule of her writers group and atelier in Paris, France that would live on even if the groups websites were down. So we came up with the idea of creating a mini documentary about the group. It didn’t take long for me to book a flight and head to the city of lights to meet and film the some of the incredible authors and creatives in the group. I quickly learned Mary is a nothing is going to stop me type of person and now is better then later. I was able to spend nine days in Paris meeting filming and getting to know members of the group and getting to know the incredible person that Mary is.
